I have been rolling this idea around in my head for a while, and I'm sure I am not the first to think of it. However, I don't know anyone doing it, so I might as well.
The purpose of this blog is to inform the rest of the world of the strange things I learn everyday. We could call it a sort of social experiment to see if you, in fact, really do learn something new everyday.
My posts won't be long, and I don't guarantee you will always be amused, but, I assure you, there will be new-to-me information posted. You may learn something, too.
Yesterday, I went to the Medieval Fair. I learned that this:
Is a TREBUCHET, a type of catapult. I learned this from my brother, Austin. There was a trebuchet at the fair.
My new good friend Andy informed our group the following on being chased by a bear:
RUN DOWNHILL!! Bears are top heavy, so they'll fall.
